LifeChip RFID Microchips

Destron Fearing has been a leading developer and manufacturer of visual and electronic animal identification solutions since 1945. Microchips not only provide proof of ownership in the event a horse is lost or stolen, but also as proof of identity for horses involved in breeding operations, competitive sports and international/domestic travel.

LifeChip® Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) microchips offer a unique and unalterable means of identifying horses and ponies of all ages, breeds and sizes. LifeChip microchips, each about the size of a grain of rice, contain a passive transponder programmed with a unique 15 digit ISO-compliant number (134.2 kHz). Once in place, these microchips can be read by any Destron Fearing or ISO-compliant reader.

Tuberculin Manufacture

Our Tuberculin is available throughout the year and can be supplied overnight to most New Zealand and Australia locations, and may reach our international customers within a few days. Domestically, our Tuberculin is subject to the quality control of AgResearch, New Zealand’s largest Crown Research Institute (CRI) with acknowledged expertise in biological science.

Since 2005 we have been supplying the Chilean market through Drag Pharma Invetec S.A. (to date, more than 2.5 million doses of PPD Bovine 32.500 IU/ML and 100,000 doses of Avian PPD 25.000 IU/ML). The USDA, SAG Chile, SENASA Peru, and ICA COLOMBIA have recognized our Tuberculin PPD Bovine because it does not require to be transported under refrigeration (nor during application in the field).

Forensic Drug Detection

Neogen has over 20 years of experience developing and manufacturing ELISA test kits. They produce high quality, dependable reagents with excellent reproducibility and sensitivity. Their extensive line of drug detection assays includes over 90 ELISA kits that can be used to screen over 195 drugs and/or their metabolites in a wide range of sample matrices. Their easy-to-use protocols are designed for both the high and low volume laboratories, since they can be run manually or easily automated on a wide range of immunoassay instruments.

Neogen’s enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test kits are qualitative one-step kits designed as screening devices for the detection of drugs and/or their metabolites in forensic samples. The kits are intended for forensic use only. It is recommended that all suspect samples be confirmed by a quantitative method such as GC/MS.
